ttawattamie County WIC Program
The Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) provides healthy food, nutrition education, breastfeeding education/support and referrals to eligible families. The WIC program serves women who are pregnant or recently had a baby, infants, and children up until their 5th birthday who meet income guidelines and have a nutritional risk. Mothers, fathers, guardians or foster parents may apply for WIC for their children. If you are receiving Medicaid, FIP or SNAP you are automatically income eligible for WIC. Income guidelines (gross income before taxes and deductions) starting April 1, 2011 are as follows:
