The Assessor's Office is a separate government entity established to classify and value all property within the jurisdiction of Pottawattamie County for tax purposes. In addition, this office processes applications for certain tax saving exemptions, completes all mandated state reports as well as addresses all assessment related inquires and explains how assessments are determined.
