I.T. Department
Pottawattamie County Information Technology (PCIT) administers hardware, software and information systems to improve services to County employees and constituents. In partnership with County departments and other agencies, PCIT coordinates County Information Technology projects in an effort to integrate solutions which best enable departments to accomplish their respective missions. PCIT operations are driven by the guiding principles identified in the County's Information Technology Mission Statement, Roll and Master Plan.

PCIT is responsible for all voice, data and information systems installed and utilized by a majority of the County departments. These systems range from communication hardware to data assurance software, which are centralized in the PCIT Network Operations Center (NOC).

Considering trends in the current information age, and the importance of accountability, assurance and security now set on digital assets, it makes a fundamentally strong developed information technology department paramount to Pottawattamie County's success.
